I woke up today
To find myself in the other place With a trail of my footprints From where I ran away It seems everything I've heard Just might be true And you know me [well you think you do] Sometimes, I have everything; Yet I wish I felt something. The reactions on my first post of an etching I made moved me to post another etching; this one actually should be placed next to the other one [which I did as a final presentation for schoolwork... the ones I upload here are actually seperate prints on very crappy paper. I do this because I can.] and that would form the final image. I dropped the border .. less authentic as in real life it does ofcourse have the paper border but, I dunno, this is not real life now is it? Oh and I forgot to mention that the general theme of the etchings I did is Isolation. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. I can't really say how long it took me to make this.. the drawing itself that I made in a sketchbook was made very quickly, I was making a bunch of drawings in a short period of time because I was very inspired & that was the one that made it to become an etching.
The etching itself probably took about.. well probably not much over an hour, carving the etching in the plate and printing and all that but I can't really say for sure how long it took, time really doesn't work as it normally should when you're busy after all.
